                           NATEA-Dallas Scholarship for College Students

OBJECTIVE

                To promote and encourage Taiwanese American/Taiwanese Students to pursue their professional careers in areas of engineering, natural sciences, medical science, mathematics, computers and their related technologies

ELIGIBILITY

. Taiwanese Americans from Texas who are pursuing degree in American  
  universities
  or
  Students who are pursuing degree in universities in Texas.

. One or both of the applicant’s parents, grandparents, or guardian must be born
  in Taiwan. 

. Applicant’s major must be in areas of engineering, natural sciences, medical
  science, mathematics, computers and related technologies.

 
NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS AND AMOUNT

. Up to three awards

. $800 per award

 
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

. Completed Application Form  

. Transcripts from the attending university.

. Two recommendation letters: One of them should be from a member of any 
  Taiwanese organizations in US or Taiwan.

. An essay with minimum 500 words in English or Kanji

. A Personal Resume

DEADLINES

 Application deadline: October 1st,  2012

 Award will be in NATEA 2012 annual meeting
